Street Jewellery - Inout, Saatchi & Saatchi

Created first for an art and design exhibition at the Mudac in Lausanne, this project is about redesigning street chains. Not only used for securing paths or parking spaces, these king-size jewellery are also highly decorative and make town quarters more appealing… In a second step, and in collaboration with the advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi in Geneva, this concept has been turned in a guerrilla marketing event for the brand Accessorize. As such, it received a Bronze Epica Award.

Homesick

Most of sport-grounds look cold, sterile and made for the only aim of competition and performance. Homesick is a series of nets designed as an enlargement of lace which is turning the unwelcoming sport ambience into an atmosphere like at home. This project can be applied to many types of sports. Tennis, soccer, volleyball, badminton, ping-pong, handball… are just a few ball-sports where the net is taking an essential part, as goal or for separating the playing fields. Homesick gives sport equipment a higher value and makes them more individual. Sport is still a game, which is mainly about fun, passion and not only about rivalry and win. (This project, realised together with Silvia Knüppel, won the Volvo Sports Design Award in 2005)
